On Wednesday 30th May Maccabi GB, in partnership with UJIA, held the Year 5 Netball Tournament.

The last two Maccabi GB tournaments have been held in very contrasting weather conditions. On Wed 16th May Maccabi GB, in partnership with UJIA, held the Primary Years 3/4 football tournament in rainy and cold conditions, then just a week later on Wed 23rd May the Primary Year 4 Netball took place in near perfect sunshine.

The 6th Community Fun Run, managed by Maccabi GB, was a huge success breaking all previous records for the second year running at its new home - London Maccabi. This year’s event was particularly special with the Chief Rabbi, Lords Sacks, and the Israeli Ambassador, Daniel Taub participating in the 5km run.

Our Millennial City, the capital of Jewish Civilization since its founding by King David , capital of the First Jewish Commonwealth destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 b.c.e., and of the Second, destroyed by the Romans in 70 c.e., was reunified and restored to the sovereignty of the Jewish State.
