Maccabi GB Leadership Programme!

Providing young people with leadership, sporting, and community experiences to enhance their confidence, wellbeing, and Jewish life.

Years 10 – 13
£150 participation fee for the academic year.
£115 to attend the March Residential Weekend!
Optional £25 fee for Functional Leadership Skills Qualification (formerly Sports Leaders UK).

Important Programme Dates

Leadership evenings - these will cover Sports Leadership, community engagement and a social dinner.

Opportunities & Events - these are on offer for those on the programme to sign up to if they would like.

The Maccabi GB Leadership Half Term scheme for primary aged children will be a chance for our Leadership participants to volunteer and lead young children. This is great experience and the perfect addition to a CV.
Maccabi GB Leadership work with Jewish Care and Langdon & Kisharon and will host volunteering days with the organisations as well as link the participants of our programme with the organisations staff to plan their own activities.
Maccabi GB Leadership participants can obtain work experience with Maccabi GB. Alternatively, the Maccabi GB Leadership manager will be able to connect participants with other organisations and people of different fields.
Maccabi GB Community Fun Run is the largest Jewish event in the UK. The Maccabi GB Leadership participants will be able to volunteer and are an integral part to the delivery of this event.

Year 10 – Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership
Year 11 – Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership
Year 12 & 13 – Level 3 Award in Sports Leadership & 16 UCAS points. (participants must complete both years in order to get the qualification)
There is a booklet for each participant that signs up to FLS. They will be able to attend our office to get support with their booklet. Alternatively, participants can complete the booklet at home themselves.

(subsidised cost of £115) – Friday 15th March at 4:30pm – Sunday 17th March at 12pm – North West London Area.

Open to all Maccabi GB Leadership participants and Team Maccabi GB athletes.
A weekend for young people to build skills around sports, sports leadership, community development and to have a great social experience with their peers. The weekend will also have a special ‘shabbatmosphere’.
