Functional Leadership Skills Qualification

We use sports and physical activity as a way of supporting participants to develop the essential skills they need to plan, develop and deliver activities that bring these benefits to their communities.

The three qualifications in the course each offer a blend of theory and practical experience, giving participants multiple opportunities to put into practice the leadership skills they develop as part of the programme.

As part of the Maccabi GB Leadership programme you will be offered volunteering opportunities within the local community, this could be large scale events such as the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run, our School Sports tournaments or our grassroots clubs and associations.

When you participate in the Maccabi GB Leadership programme we create a unique programme that helps develop you, as a leader in a way that’s framed around the work that we do and the activities that you enjoy. With a focus on our International Games pathway and the specialist skills in working with the wider Jewish community the techniques that you learn can help set you up for a life in helping the Jewish Community become healthier than they are today.

So if your passion is to become the next International games manager, to run our next grassroots clubs or to help with a local group then the Maccabi GB Leadership programme will give you all the necessary skills to be able to navigate those journeys
