Italian sailor Andrea Fornaro shared with the group his personal experience of a solo trip across the Atlantic Ocean in the Mini-Transat race. He spoke in detail about how he stayed motivated whilst spending 18 days alone, his coping techniques and the skills that he learnt and developed through the years. After the talk he took all to visit the boat that he will be using in his next race.  Jordan Sapler commented saying "This gave me a personal insight into the mind of an elite sportsman, how they cope under pressure and the skills they develop and learn whilst putting their body in extremely tough and stressful situations."

Motti Tichauer, EMC Chairman, gave an inspiring talk about previous Maccabiah Games and shared information about what is happening in the run up to the 20TH Maccabiah Games, taking place in Israel in July 2017. This was a special session that allowed the younger generation to learn about the history of Maccabi and how the Maccabiah is constantly growing.

Rosie Cheyette, one of the Maccabi GB delegates commented; "I am looking forward to using this experience to be an enthusiastic leader and pass on the heart of Maccabi to the participants." -. Rosie is hoping to put together a session about Maccabi, specifically Maccabi GB, for our upcoming Weekend Away with Leadership by Streetwise.

"The FLF seminars are always a special experience filled with education, inspiration, passion and friendship.  At this seminar we participated in three sessions led by our peers, each participant brings something different and has their own expertise in the Maccabi family, and it's always important to share and teach each other." - Yvie Curtis.
