An announcement from Manchester Jewish Soccer League Chairman, Paul Rose Last weekend Haroldeans were presented with the Joan Collins Premier Division Trophy. They finished the league campaign with a 3-2 defeat at the hands of a strong Maccabi 3rd, their nearest rivals who finished 6 points behind in the final table. Elsewhere it was Jewventus who won the battle at the bottom beating Reich 4-1. On Wednesday, Broughton Park Rangers were the opposition as Haroldeans sought the second leg of a momentous quadruple. The Tony Cohen Cup Final was played at Styal FC on a warm June evening and the teams did not disappoint with a compelling match which was not settled till the latter stages. Haroldeans ran out 3-1 winners and lifted their second trophy of the week.

Marley Rubens put Haroldeans back in the lead after 65 minutes then Shiffman produced an exquisite chip to to seal the 3-1 victory with quarter of an hour remaining. On Sunday, Reich stand in the way of Haroldeans in the Harold Feldman Trophy Cup Final, kick off 2pm at Hyde United FC.
