Leadership by Streetwise 2021
This year’s Leadership by Streetwise programme started as an online course. 81 participants in school years 10 – 13 signed up to join in January and after spending the first 5 months learning their Sports Leadership course online, participants were finally able to meet in person.

During June Half Term, all the trainee leaders attended a day of sports leadership, team building activities and welfare training together in the bright sunshine. From the Level 1s in Year 10s, all the way up to H2s in Year 13, everyone was able to learn, develop and engage as a collective group, something that they really have been missing over the last 18 months.

An announcement from Manchester Jewish Soccer League Chairman, Paul Rose
Haroldeans will play Reich in Harold Feldman Cup Final on Sunday 20th June at Hyde Utd. They saw off Maccabi 3rd and Jewventus respectively.

BPR will play Haroldeans in the Tony Cohen Cup Final on Wednesday 16th June at Styal FC. The Merseysiders beat Jewventus last weekend.

In the league, Maccabi 3rd beat Reich 5-1 and will finish second unless Haroldeans lose points this weekend when they play Reich themselves which would open up the title race.
An announcement from Maccabi Southern Football League Chairman, David Wolff
Now that we are in June there are only FOUR more weeks to complete the season.

There are clear indications as to where the final placings will rest and I do hope that those teams without any hope of gaining honours will play their part in helping the season to conclude.
There have been a few defaults but luckily not too many so please try to honour your commitments.
It has certainly been challenging with the most problematic of sourcing pitches. There has been occasion when, even though pitches were hired the council did not set them up.
We have now reached the SEMI FINAL stage of the CYRIL ANEKSTEIN CUP and I must thank everyone who helped to play matches mid-week. The final is scheduled for Wednesday June 30th at SILVER JUBILEE PARK. KO 7.45am.
There has also been some really poor examples of indiscipline and a few ‘Further misconduct’ cases re to be dealt with by the county FA.
Please enjoy what remains of the season
