Maccabi GB Interschool Sports Tournament - Wednesday 24th November
This week we held a Girls and Boys Netball Tournament for year 5&6 as part of the Interschool Sports Tournaments sponsored by All Aboard. There were 60 competitors from three Jewish Primary schools making up eight teams. The tournament was won by Kerem C.

The Inter-charity quiz of the year - Tuesday 14th December
The annual Maccabi GB inter-charity quiz returns this year online! We are inviting you to get a team together in person or virtually and join us for the quiz of the year. Which charity will be crowned this year's winners?

Teams of 2-12 people, £5 per person

A percentage of the proceeds will be awarded to the charities who finish in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Maccabiah Open Futsal Prize competition
The Maccabiah Open Futsal Squad are looking for your help. Maccabi London Lions
Maccabi London Lions made history last weekend by beating Mulbarton FC in the FA Vase 2nd 2-1 to reach the 3rd round for the first time ever. They have now been rewarded for their great performance with a home draw against New Salamis on December 11th and are only five games away from walking out at Wembley Stadium.

Held at our two high quality venues, there were 15 fixtures this week competing across the U7, U8, U9, U10 age groups. We have also welcomed an additional squad since the season began.

We would like to thank the competing teams; Hendon United, HMH, North West London Jets, Brondesbury Park Rangers and HGS for their continued support and wish all teams and players the ongoing best of luck for the season

Last weekend in the MJSL, Jewventus won again beating BPR 5-2 whilst this weekend BPR host Leeds Maccabi at Frederick Rd (10am kick off). Elsewhere Reich play Failsworth Villa (home venue to be used) in the 2nd round of the Manchester FA County Cup (10.30 kick off).

This weekend we have another fixture list that has some interesting matches.
 
There is one CYRIL ANEKSTEIN cup tie and two matches in the London Sunday Trophy competition.
 
I hope that everyone is enjoying the photo gallery in association with the Jewish Chronicle and also the games that are being Videoed
 
Last week’s discipline left a lot to be desired. There were several cautions and also 4 dismissals  This was far too high.
 
If we are to retain the services of our referees and Richard Jaye has worked wonders to add to and improve the panel, this really must improve. It’s up to Team Management to help this happen.
 
We have a well-respected league which cannot be allowed to fall below the expected standards.
 
Overall, though, I think we are really in a positive mode but must never rest on our laurels.

The Jewish Golf Initiative presents Night Golf - Sunday 27th February 2022
The first Jewish Charity Night Golf event has arrived!
If you have never played night golf before, here is your opportunity to give it a go and support a fantastic cause.
Held at Dyrham Park Country Club, this is a unique opportunity to play with state of the art golf balls!
There will be food and drink stalls available throughout the evening, unique live scoring and a leaderboard.... and more to be announced soon!
