An announcement from Manchester Jewish Soccer League Paul Rose
A big catch up is needed with numerous games recently. Last week saw Haroldeans take a big step towards lifting the league title with a 9-0 victory over Maccabi 3rd. If results are favourable over the next week then they could get over the line sooner rather than later. Elsewhere Jewventus beat BPR 3-0.
BPR edged home in an exciting penalty shoot out last Thursday when they drew level with Maccabi 3rd  in added time to make it 3-3 then won 3-2 on spot kicks to reach the Shonn Trophy Cup Final. Jewventus could not field a team so Haroldeans will meet BPR at the end of June.
This week sees Maccabi 3rd try to salvage their season but will have to overcome Haroldeans in the Feldman Trophy semi final. In the Tony Cohen Cup SF, Haroldeans host Jewventus on Sunday with the winners to face BPR on 16th June at Styal FC.
