An announcement from Manchester Jewish Soccer League Chairman Paul Rose

Manchester Jewish Soccer League season 73, starts on Sunday 13th September after a 6 month gap following Covid lockdown.

With strict protocols and risk assessments in place, the two matches are Maccabi Manchester 3rd v Reich Masters at Brooklands in Manchester (10am) and Haroldeans v Jewventus at Simpson Ground in Liverpool (11am).

An announcement from Maccabi GB Southern Football League Chairman David Wolff

The first weekend of the new season went ahead with the exception of one match that had to be cancelled through the Pandemic. There were an excessive number of cautions that, I hope, will reduce in the future weeks.

This weekend sees a full programme once again with full referee coverage as usual. Some clubs are struggling to secure a regular pitch but I hope that this will be sorted in due course.

On Sunday, Hendon United Sports, the Champions of 2019-2020 will be presented with their Winners medals at The Hive after their match with HMH. In compliance with all the Protocols they will need to be collected from the ‘boot’ of my car!!
