Over 60 toddlers took part in Maccabi GB’s first ever ‘Toddles & Tea’ event on Friday with a further 70 parents in attendance.
The brand new event held at Maccabi GB @ Kulanu, was a huge success giving the toddlers their first MGB experience, where they took part in activities with sports coaches & Leadership participants.
The event not only encouraged the younger members of our Community to get active and have fun, but also allowed their parents and grandparents to connect in a social environment with other Jewish families.
As well as the toddlers activities, parents could enter into a raffle which raised £350 for the charity and included prizes from Parents Paradise, Willows Farm, My 1st Years, Belmont Farm, Hartbeeps Elstree & Mill Hill, Pregnancy Massage By Gemma, Child’s Farm Bath Products, Ella’s Kitchen, Happy Puzzle Company, Flitterstitch Hair Bows, Beautician Francesca Elf, Bear Paws Snacks and Jump In.
Maccabi GB Toddles & Tea parent Saskya Monchar said “I came to Maccabi GB Toddles & Tea with my baby Ariel who just turned 1. He had the best day of his life so far! He played in the ball pond and on softplay and went on a bouncy castle for the first time. There was a great atmosphere and Ariel was so excited to take part he promptly fell asleep as soon as we left!”
Maccabi GB Event Coordinator Talia Fennessy said of the event, “It was fantastic to see over 60 pre-schoolers engage with Maccabi GB, it was a unique event for the Organisation. Our MGB Sports Coaches ran brilliant active games, the soft play & bouncy castle were a huge hit and there was smiley faces all around. We even had some tantrums at the end as the kids just didn’t want to leave and go home! We hope this event is the first of many these children have on their Maccabi GB journey.”
