JAMI

Jami, the mental health service for the Jewish community and part of Jewish Care, is here for when mental illness, distress and trauma make everyday life a struggle. We guide young people and adults through their mental health recovery, offer support and advice to their families and carers, and educate community leaders.

This support is provided in one-to-one and group settings, in-person or online, by social workers, occupational therapists, mental health practitioners, peer support workers with lived experience of mental health difficulties, qualified and trainee counsellors, and volunteers.

Through our life-changing services, which include everything from talking therapies and volunteer befriending to vocational support and daily groups at Head Room – Jami’s social enterprise café – we offer a safe space to talk, social connection, access to work and volunteering opportunities, advice and advocacy, and so much more.
