Our areas of work
Our Theory of Change, which guides our development, identifies three core themes aligning with the needs of the Jewish community and broader British society. Our diverse programmes play distinct roles in addressing these needs, with inputs and activities aimed at delivering sustainable, measurable impact for the future.
Sports, Health & Wellbeing
Maccabi GB engages the community through sport at every level — from school sport and grassroots clubs to elite international representation. We deliver inclusive programmes and adapted activities for SEND participants, as well as major communal events like the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run and Community sport events. Our work promotes lifelong health, fitness and wellbeing for all ages and abilities.

Education & Development of Jewish people
Through a broad range of Jewish education programmes, such as the Streetwise project (in partnership with CST), our Sport Development Programme, our Jewish Identity Programmes at International Games, and the Yellow Candle Project, Maccabi GB supports the personal development, safety and identity of young Jewish people. These programmes help strengthen Jewish pride, community connection and resilience across the UK.
Contribution to British society
Maccabi GB represents the Jewish community across British sport's governing bodies, and delivers pioneering educational programmes such as 'Tackling Antisemitism in Sport' and 'Stand Up! Education Against Discrimination'. By working with schools, sports clubs and national bodies, we build understanding, challenge antisemitism, and promote inclusion — contributing positively to British society and public life.
