Jewish Family Centre

The JFC is a grass roots charity. We can help individuals and families with:
• Child and adult psychotherapy & counselling
• Advocacy in schools and with the Police; Social services intervention:Legal Advocacy; Support groups; Parenting Classes;
• Early years Developmental Courses for mums and toddlers.
• The Centre is NACCC registered, providing supervised and supported contact and handovers for parents who do not live with their child.

We are involved with all sectors of the community, regardless of religious affiliation; and are relied on for confidentiality. We work in conjunction with all appropriate organisations, Jewish and non-Jewish, to achieve the best outcomes for our families.

The JFC runs Early Years Developmental Programmes – Well Baby Clinic with a Midwife, Nutrition and Lactation Specialists; Music and Movement groups; Art and Messy play; Baby Yoga.

The Centre provides professionals to help mums grow in confidence as parents. It is a great social hub where Mums can make friends. The Centre includes a Coffee and Tea area with coffee-shop style seating. There is always hot fresh soup daily, and often sandwiches and wraps.

Our Fundays, pottery painting and holiday activities for families with children of primary school age are ongoing, plus our Summer Day Camp.
