Maccabi London Lions FC
Maccabi London Lions FC is the largest Jewish football club in the UK and is believed to be the largest Jewish community football club in the world. Following a merger with Brady Maccabi in 2019, the club has become a cornerstone of Jewish grassroots football.
Based at Rowley Lane in Barnet, Maccabi London FC boasts over 50 teams, from under-7s through to veterans, with more than 650 registered players. The club’s senior men’s team plays at the highest level of any Jewish-only men’s side in the country, competing at Step 5 of the football pyramid in the Spartan South Midlands League, and currently chasing promotion to Step 4 this season.
Several of the club’s youth sides also compete in the prestigious semi-professional Eastern Junior Alliance (EJA) League, offering a pathway for talented young players to develop and excel.
MLFC is a community-driven organisation, deeply rooted in London Jewry, and plays a pivotal role in promoting football and fostering Jewish identity through sport. Its world-class facilities span over 50 acres, featuring seven pitches and a state-of-the-art 4G surface. Every Sunday, around 1,000 players, coaches, parents, and supporters pass through the gates — making Rowley Lane a vibrant hub of community activity.
Maccabi London FC continues to thrive as a beacon of Jewish sport in the UK, fostering talent, ambition, and community engagement across all ages.
