Jewish Care
Jewish Care is the largest health and social care organisation serving the Jewish community in London and the South-East, providing services that touch the lives of 12,000 people every week.
Our care homes provide personal, nursing, end-of-life, mental health and respite care, while our retirement living schemes enable older people to live independently with support. Together with our befriending schemes, we also help combat loneliness and isolation by bringing members of the community together through our Holocaust Survivors’ Centre, community centres and centres for people living with dementia, which provide a warm and stimulating environment to socialise and stay connected to the community.
Whether people require support for themselves or as a family carer, our social work and community support service can meet their needs, alongside our wide range of support and social groups.
Providing kosher and nutritious food through our Meals-on-Wheels service is a lifeline for many, while our online activities and events, and technology support for all adults within the Jewish community, help ensure that people can stay socially and digitally connected in their everyday lives.
