Stanmore & Canons Park Synagogue

Stanmore & Canons Park Synagogue is a warm, energetic and vibrant community of close to 1700 members. We offer diverse activities, events, and clubs for all age groups, catering to people from a variety of backgrounds and interests, in addition to our daily minyanim and learning programmes.

Our aim is to be a community centre that embraces innovation, where everyone feels welcome, comfortable, and inspired to participate. A Community with a Shul – not just a Shul for a Community.

Last year, we joined forces with JCD to become the first community in the UK to formally twin its Bar and Batmitzvah programme with a Youth Village in Israel. Our ‘twins’ live and study in the Talpiot Village in Hadera, an amazing place providing care, education and support for some of Israel’s most vulnerable youngsters. This year, our Bar and Batmitzvah ‘BnB’ heroes are again raising funds in order to bring their Talpiot twins to London in September for an unforgettable Shabbaton weekend and celebration.
