Volunteers on Wheels

Volunteers on Wheels (charity no. 1199575) is a vital link helping distribute 1 million food parcels per year.
Since 2020, every weekday our dedicated team of volunteers are out on our vans delivering surplus food and humanitarian aid to vulnerable people and those struggling with food poverty and insecurity.

Each year our work includes:
• Helping 50,000 people
• Supporting 40+ food & humanitarian aid charities
• Diverting 400,000kg of food from landfill
• Saving 6,500 volunteer car journeys

We collect and deliver surplus food and aid in bulk using our two large vans.
Our partners regularly describe our service as the "vital link" in the distribution of 1+ million food parcels annually.

We are constantly looking for more volunteers to join our friendly team to assist and drive our vans, which are based in Northwest London.
