JCC Maccabi Campus Games 2025

As July winds to a close, the excitement is reaching fever pitch — all our squads are now fully prepped and poised for departure to Pittsburgh!
It’s been a whirlwind of a month: packed with intense training sessions, final preparations, and competitive matches that have pushed every athlete to their limits. From reviewing tactics, the commitment and energy from every player, coach and manager have been nothing short of incredible.

Now, with the countdown nearly over, the focus shifts to the big stage. Pittsburgh awaits — and our squads are ready to rise to the occasion. Let’s bring the passion, the pride, and the performance. Game week is almost here!
Maccabiah 2025 (Now 2026)
June brought the heart-breaking news of the postponement of the Maccabiah Games to 2026. While this announcement was deeply disappointing for our participants, management, and the wider global Maccabi community, it has also provided us with a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect, and realign.
Maccabi GB stands in full solidarity with our friends and colleagues in Israel. The safety and security of our delegation remains our utmost priority.
Despite the initial disappointment, our delegation is approaching this extended timeline with renewed optimism. We now have an extra year to strengthen our recruitment efforts, grow our teams, and prepare to deliver an even greater presence in 2026. We are determined to make this Maccabiah more meaningful, more powerful, and more united than ever before.
While recruitment has been understandably challenging in light of the ongoing war in Israel, we’re hopeful that as we look ahead, we can grow our numbers and help create what we believe could be the most memorable Maccabiah of all time.
There has been little change in our delegation, with the vast majority choosing to continue their journey and see it through. We will regroup in September to revise our plans and re-energise our teams. We also have a few team gaps to fill and are excited to be launching trials for new squads.
Though this month may not have brought the high points we usually share – nor the celebratory summer photos we had hoped for – the spirit of our athletes and volunteers remains unwavering.

Our teams have continued to train without interruption. A special mention goes to our fantastic Girls’ Football management team, who ensured their squad still enjoyed a week of international competition by securing a place at the Costa Blanca Cup.
We continue to move forward – with strength, unity, and purpose – ready to make 2026 truly unforgettable.
