Maccabiah Games 2025
We’re now another month closer to the Games, and the momentum is really starting to build. It’s been an incredibly busy and productive few weeks, so here’s a detailed roundup of all the exciting progress we’ve made:
🔹 Sporting Progress
Training sessions have been in full swing across all sports this month, with athletes and coaches working tirelessly to sharpen their skills and strengthen team dynamics. The commitment, energy, and focus on display have been nothing short of inspiring. It’s clear that everyone is putting in the hard graft, and the improvements are really starting to show.
The level of teamwork and determination at training has been exceptional, with athletes pushing themselves to new heights and showing real resilience. A huge thank you to all the coaches and support staff who are putting in the time and effort to ensure our teams are in peak condition. The hard work now will undoubtedly pay off when we hit the world stage in July – keep going, you’re doing brilliantly!
🍽️ Supper Quiz Fundraiser
We’re thrilled to share that our fantastic Girls’ Football teams will be hosting a Supper Quiz over the next two weeks to help raise funds for the Under-16 and Under-18 squads. This is a brilliant opportunity to support the teams while enjoying a fun and sociable evening. If you’d like to attend or contribute, please reach out to the organisers – your support will make a real difference. Let’s get behind the teams and make this event a huge success!
⏳ Countdown: 4 Months to Go!
With just four months until the Games, the excitement is really starting to build. The pace of preparations has stepped up significantly, and it’s incredible to see the dedication and focus from everyone involved. From athletes and coaches to the organising committee and volunteers – the combined effort is truly impressive.
We’re on track for a fantastic showing in July, and with each passing week, the sense of anticipation grows stronger. Let’s keep this momentum going – the final stretch is within reach!
🌍 Maccabiah World Congress

This week, seven members of the organising committee will be attending the Maccabiah World Congress. This is a crucial opportunity to finalise all the key details around accommodation, venues, transport, and general logistics.
We expect to come away with valuable insights that will help ensure everything is perfectly organised for the Games. It’s also a great chance to strengthen relationships with other delegations and the wider Maccabiah community. We’ll share more updates once the team returns – stay tuned!
🎯 Management Training
We’ve been continuing with our ongoing Management Training programme, which has been hugely beneficial for strengthening the leadership skills within our team.
On 3rd March, we hosted our third Junior Management Training session, where the incredible Chloe Greenberg delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking talk on diversity in the world of sport. Chloe’s insights on inclusivity, representation, and the importance of creating equal opportunities in sport were both eye-opening and motivating.
A huge thank you to Chloe for sharing her time and expertise – it’s clear that her message resonated strongly with everyone who attended. We’re excited to keep building on this knowledge and ensuring that diversity remains at the heart of everything we do.
That’s all for this month – fantastic progress across the board! Keep up the hard work, stay focused, and let’s make these final months count. We’re so proud of everything you’ve achieved so far – let's keep pushing towards the finish line.

Management Training:
This month we combined our training with the Junior Maccabiah Management Team. We had a stimulating and intellectually engaging talk on diversity in the world of sport delivered by Chloe Greenberg. The focus on inclusivity, representation, and the significance of fostering equal opportunities in sport was both enlightening and inspiring. We all really appreciated learning from Chloe and understanding more on the subject.
