Maccabi GB is delighted to announce the appointment of Richard Feldman, Stuart Lustigman, Lord John Mann, and David Wolff as Honorary Life Presidents of the organisation. They join Lord Jonathan Kestenbaum, who has held the position since 2015.
This appointment represents the highest honorary recognition within Maccabi GB and reflects decades of exceptional service to Jewish sport and the Jewish community. While it acknowledges extraordinary past achievements, it also recognises the continued commitment, time, expertise, and passion each of these individuals brings to supporting Maccabi GB’s vision of a healthy, active, and proud Jewish community, fully integrated within British society.
Jonathan Prevezer, Chair of Maccabi GB, said:
“Each of these Honorary Life Presidents has shaped Maccabi GB in a profound and lasting way. Their impact spans generations, from grassroots sport to international engagement, and from community infrastructure to tackling some of the most pressing challenges facing Jewish life today. Importantly, this honour is not only about recognising what they have done, but about celebrating the fact that they continue to give so much to our community and to the future of Maccabi GB.”

Richard Feldman is a former Chairman of Maccabi GB and has played a pivotal role in the organisation’s strategic development and long-term community positioning. He was instrumental in the professionalisation of Maccabi GB, including the appointment of its first Chief Executive, and was a driving force behind establishing the Kenton Maccabi centre as a hub for Jewish sport and community activity. His leadership helped secure Maccabi GB’s permanent presence in Kenton, ensuring a lasting legacy for future generations. Richard has also served on the European Maccabi Confederation Executive, where amongst other achievements, was one of the pioneers of the Future Leaders Forum; supporting the development of young leadership across Europe.

Stuart Lustigman has been a leading figure in British and international Jewish sport for more than six decades. He has held senior leadership roles at Maccabi GB including Sports Director, Chairman, and Vice President, as well as serving as Chairman of the European Maccabi Confederation and Vice Chair of the Maccabi World Union. Deeply committed to connecting Jewish communities through sport and Israel, Stuart has led 23 organised tours to Israel since 2000, including highly successful Walking Football and Lawn Bowls tours in 2025. He is widely recognised for his lifelong contribution to the Maccabi movement, particularly in the establishment and growth of grassroots football from junior to masters level, and latterly Walking Football. Stuart received the Yakir Maccabi Award in 2009, the Football Association's Long (50 years) Service Medal in 2017 and was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2021.

Lord John Mann is the UK Government’s Independent Adviser on Antisemitism and a long-standing national voice on tackling hate, discrimination, and extremism. His life’s work has been central to shaping policy and driving action across government and sport, with a strong focus on practical outcomes and accountability. Lord Mann has also played a key role in the development of Maccabi GB’s Tackling Antisemitism in Sport project over the past two years, working closely with sporting bodies and community partners to ensure sport remains inclusive, safe, and welcoming for all. Lord Mann received the Global Tikkun Olam Award from the International Jewish Sports Hall Of Fame in 2025, presented to a non-Jewish leader demonstrating exemplary leadership in standing up for and supporting Israel, the global Jewish community and Sport, in an effort to repair the world.

David Wolff is one of the most influential figures in Jewish grassroots football in the UK. He has been Chairman of the Maccabi GB Southern Football League since 1970, having first joined its management in the 1960s, and has overseen its growth into one of the largest Jewish football leagues in Europe. David has also served as Sports Director of Maccabi GB and has been involved in European Maccabi Games for decades. Beyond Maccabi GB, he holds senior roles within the London FA, including serving as its President, and has received multiple honours recognising his exceptional service to grassroots football.
