JLC
The Jewish Leadership Council (JLC), connects and coordinates the Jewish charitable sector, strengthens and supports leadership across the community, and magnifies and amplifies their members’ voices. The JLC represents the largest Jewish organisations in the UK, including synagogues, care organisations, education charities, regional Representative Councils, and the Board of Deputies of British Jews.
From supporting the long-term aims of the community through data-led research to connecting their members to each other, government, and public institutions relevant to their work, the JLC is there to ensure the UK Jewish community thrives. They work across the community regardless of religious, cultural, political affiliations or beliefs.
The JLC has a designated leadership division called Lead. Working cross-communally, Lead offers leadership development opportunities including programmes, events and networking. The variety of opportunities Lead provides includes the Adam Science Programme for emerging leaders and the Dangoor Senior Leadership Programme. Lead understands that leadership development is a key driver for the creation of a vibrant and vital Jewish community.
