Maccabi GB are delighted to be hosting the inaugural European Maccabi Youth Games ‘EMYG24’, taking place in London from July 30 to August 6, 2024. To see the promotional video please click here.  

 

Hundreds of young people from across Europe and the world, will be participating in a week of sporting competition in Youth (U18) and Junior (U16) competitions,  London sightseeing, learning about British Jewish history, culture and tradition and having a true Maccabi Jewish experience.  

 

As part of these Games, we are going to be providing a sporting programme for youth with Special Educational Needs (SEN) - the EMYG24 Access Games. We are seeking a cohort of interested participants with mild to moderate special educational needs who would like to take part in this exciting programme. Participants will get to take part in a variety of sporting-based activities, and we hope will make lasting friendships and memories.

 

We are ideally seeking participants who are between the ages of 14-18, however, if interested participants fall outside of this age bracket, we will do our absolute best to accommodate. We also have volunteering opportunities available for those over the age of 18.

So we can deliver as positive an experience as possible to all participants involved, size of this cohort will be restricted, and we will recruit on a first come first served basis. Funding has been secured successfully, covering the majority of the program's expenses. To secure and confirm your spot, only a nominal fee £20 is necessary, which will be fully refunded once the Games are completed.
