Migdal Emunah

Migdal Emunah supports Jewish children, women, and men across the UK who have experienced sexual abuse. The charity was set up in 2013 as the first Jewish organisation supporting Jewish sexual abuse survivors.

With offices based in London and Manchester, Migdal Emunah provides services which support, empower, and enable good health and wellbeing.

100% of our male clients who report abuse, and over 75% of our female clients first experienced sexual abuse as a child, so our main focus is on reducing the harm caused by child sexual abuse.

Migdal Emunah employs trained and accredited Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs), funded by the Ministry of Justice, to support clients with their health, education, social care, social, housing, and criminal justice needs. We support clients to return to good health at home, in school, at work, and socially, by helping them to understand their past trauma, build supportive relationships, and have healthy goals for their future.

Migdal Emunah offers free trauma counselling support for children, adults, couples, families, and groups. We support Jewish and external professionals to understand the nature of intimate abuse, to help prevent it, and reduce the harm caused.

We work closely with Rabbonim and community leaders to hear and understand survivor concerns, and to support clients in a way which meets their health, Jewish religious, and cultural needs.

Every pound raised supports clients, delivers easy-to-understand information, and ensures Migdal Emunah is known across the Jewish community and within statutory services (education, health, social care, police) and partner organisations across the UK.
